I'm getting a parse error from the suggestion box.
Disable view counts for Vevo and for embedded videos on other sites.
Vevo users are "Listeners" playing from playlists, not specific viewers.
Youtube needs to maintain on-click integrity of the view count to preserve credibility, ideally, one person IP address, one vote tabulated server-side. See "Lady GaGa/Bad Romance" for the 94M count!

I hope most voted wanted features get done. Specially those about Ogg. Ogg is an open standar and if Google thinks it isn't the good enoug, why doesn't Google help to make it even better?

@Bryan Youtube keeps closing all ogg-related ideas so they don't hit the top ideas list. Make a search for "ogg" and see it for yourself.

I've tried and tried again but I keep getting "error parsing response" - even on different computers and different Google accounts and different browsers!

Therefore, I would GREATLY appreciate it if you didn't write me off as a jerk for posting my YouTube ideas in this comment...

~~~~~~~~~~
Equalize the sound volume across ALL videos by using Replay Gain / WaveGain (For WaveGain, you may want to resample to 24 bit).
This would best be implemented the next time a new video format is introduced (such as Theora or VP8 + Vorbis in HTML5)
----------
The audio quality for 1080p no better than the audio for 480p. Blu-ray's audio is better than DVD, so then YouTube HD should be as well!
I suggest the following:
360p - 96kbps
480p - 160kbps
720p - 256kbps (like it was when it launched)
1080p - Max bitrate (lossless in the future)
Also allow at least 48KHz sample rates - that's the standard for DVD, so pretty much everything should be able to play it.
----------
If it hasn't been already (I checked 2 months ago after reporting it a month or so before):
Fix the bug causing videos wider than 3904 pixels to fail to convert. This is very annoying for screen recordings showing ATI's Eyefinity - downsizing the video just hurts future-proofing.
I tried to post my comment but it said "error parsing response" so I will post it here. Have people be able to submit videos to be featured on the YouTube homepage so some diversity is seen besides videos with thousands of views already. Give homepage spots to people who might not have a lot of views or who don't have many subscribers.
Allow peoples to customize the very look of the player and all the buttons
I had an idea, but was late in submitting it. It concerns improving the insight for YouTube. It needs to be streamlined and with more exportability functions. Functions like longer timeframe for data exports, exporting total views for each video by day, w/ no breakdown what so ever by region. Those are just a few, if there is any other way to submit my ideas past this deadline, let me know. Thanks.
Same here, and no help for the subject, no way to report it... It just leaves you hanging.
Nice job, Google.
